The best mode of public transport to reach the property is either by licensed taxi or by chauffeured limousine.


Most visitors opt to travel by taxi, which are easily available. There are a multitude of taxi companies of varying degrees of dependability. All licensed taxis are on meter so be careful to check this out before you get into one.


The Transjakarta Busway (known as busway or Tije in Indonesian) is modern, air-conditioned, and comfortable, with flat fare between IDR 3,000 to IDR 3,500. Operates from 05:00 to 22:00 hours daily.


A valid international driving license or Indonesian driving license is required. Be aware of the odd and even car license number system implemented in some of the main streets in the city: morning from 07:00 – 10:00 and in the afternoon from 16:00 – 20:00, where there is a requirement on only odd car license number can pass certain area in odd dates and only even car license number can pass certain area in even dates. Valid from Monday – Friday exclude public holidays.


‘Ojek’ (local name for Jakarta’s motorcycle taxis) shuttles short distances down alleys and roads but will also do longer trips for a price. Agree on the fare before you set off. Insist on a helmet, and wear it properly.


Nearest station: Sudirman Station and Gambir Station in Central Jakarta. Except in weekends, you can generally buy a ticket just before departure. It is highly recommended to buy from the stations itself or from your nearest travel agencies.
